Each garden that we design is tailored to suit a specific space and the requirements, taste and lifestyle of a specific client.

We also undertake design and installation work abroad and have numerous clients in other countries, including Angola, Botswana, Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), Mozambique, Namibia, Tanzania and Zambia. Photographs of our work as well as interviews with our managing director have been featured in the media both locally and internationally. This includes articles and photographs in newspapers, magazines, trade publications, television shows and published books.

We provide a turnkey service from designing and creating the initial concept (2D CAD design and/or 3D design) through to the installation of the final product, whether it be a landscaped garden, designer deck or patio, water feature, fire pit or braai.

The Friendly Plant currently operates five installation teams, each one lead by a landscape project manager, whose job is to supervise the implementation of the design. We also have three full-time construction teams which we use to build garden structures, water features, swimming pools and other similar features.

Our offices are located on our 44-acre farm, based in Muldersdrift, Mogale City, where we grow plants and supply to both local and International markets (landscapers, property developers, retail nurseries).

Due to the nature of the services that we offer our clients, we have a fully- equipped workshop as we constantly need custom design and fabricate items in metal, wood or concrete, in order to conform to our designs.
